An - Tour guide
"Hello everyone, I’m An from Mekong ZigZag. After eight great years on a cruise ship, I had to leave when I had a baby. It was a tough change, but this job has brought me a lot of happiness. The working environment here is perfect, with colleagues like uncle Tam, uncle Hai, Linh, Chi, Chung, and Sỉ always supporting each other with care and kindness. Especially, my boss Dzung has greatly boosted my confidence by trusting me to handle work challenges. Even though I can't travel the world anymore, working at MekongZigZag lets me connect with people from all over the world, which makes me very happy. I look forward to sharing the beauty of my homeland and its warm-hearted people with our guests. Thank you for making ZigZag feel like a second home. I truly appreciate and love you all." - An
"She was our very first tour guide. Back when it was just an idea and a lot of hope, An showed up with her signature calm and care, and led our first guests through the Mekong like she’d been doing it forever.
Now, she’s not just a guide — she’s the one running the whole team behind the scenes. And honestly, there’s no one better. An has this quiet strength and deep sense of fairness. She treats everyone — from our drivers to the coconut candy ladies and mat weavers — with genuine respect. Not because she has to. Just because that’s who she is.
What makes An truly special is how she leads with both heart and integrity. She has this calm presence that puts everyone at ease — guests and teammates alike. She notices the little things, steps in when it matters, and always does the right thing, even when no one’s watching. Whether it’s making a tough call, quietly supporting someone behind the scenes, or making sure every traveler feels safe and cared for, An shows up with intention, fairness, and grace.
Outside of work, she’s a wonderful mom to a smart, kind daughter. You can just see the love and care in the way she raises her.
We’re lucky to have her. And if you ever meet An on one of our tours, you’ll feel that same calm energy — like everything’s taken care of, and you can just enjoy the moment. "- Dzung, Mekong ZigZag Founder.

Chi - Tour guide
I’m Chi, a 30-year-old born and raised in the coconut paradise of Ben Tre, Vietnam. Back in 2017, I embarked on an adventure to Japan to study and work, but after six amazing years, I found my way back home. Now, I’m a tour guide for Mekong ZigZag, sharing my love for Vietnamese culture – especially the hidden gems of Ben Tre – with friends from near and far. I absolutely adore cooking and surprising my guests with spontaneous, unforgettable local experiences! For me, it’s not just a job; it’s a passion and a lot of fun!

My Story, Our Beginning
Before joining Mekong Zigzag, I never imagined I would one day become a tour guide. My journey started with an unexpected love story in Bến Tre, where I met my husband, Manish. From navigating cultural differences to becoming a mother and stepping away from work, life led me through many changes. After years at home, I challenged myself to return to the world — and that’s how I found Mekong Zigzag. It wasn’t easy at first, but thanks to the support of my team and the travelers I met, I slowly found my confidence again. Now, every tour is not just a job, but a way for me to share my love for this land — and to keep growing. [Read my full story ➝]
